*SPOILER ALERT* Salt (2010) - Critisizing this Movie *SPOILER ALERT*

Yep yep, Here's it, The review for Salt, the so called Summer Blockbuster if you will. I reckon you'd think it'd be saltier than a salt and pepper steak. Well, you'd be half right on that one Johnny.

The Movie starts out with Jolie getting "tortured" by N.Korean Soldiers and forced to gulp down what i suspect to be oil (i could possibly be wrong) and subsequently saved by her department, the CIA thanks to her man, the German Spider-Man.

Fast Forward a little bit, its her anniversary and the CIA caught this defector (Russian guy Orlov) and gets Salt and Ted to interrogate him. During the 'interrogation', the defector claims Salt to be a Russian Spy (YAH ! YAH !)... She puts on this 'fake'-ish surprise look and tries to escape when the CIA decided that they needed to 'interrogate' her said accusation.

A long winding pursuit ensues, filled with bombs, gun fires, the 'death' of the Russian President, more chase scenes and jumping off big rigs etc. (you get the point).

Salt 'assassinates' the Russian President and then makes a move to see Orlov (the defector) who's actually her 'trainer' as a kid to be a Russian spy in America (yes, its VERY original). She sees her husband get shot, then kills Orlov and several other Russian men on board. She meets a guy, who plans to kill the president (he's white) of the USA.

*SPOILER STARTS HERE* (well, it started from the first line, but hey)
Salt makes her way past several FBI men and the so called chamber under the white house the president claimed "even my own men cant get through once [the door is] closed". Ted turns out to be a Russian Spy as well (WOW!!!! DAMN! REALLY!?) and aimed to use Salt as a scapegoat to nuke some middle eastern nations to anger the Muslims.
*Spoiler Ends Here*

Bla Bla Bla... Salt kills Ted, and gets caught and brought under the FBI, on the plane, she escapes with the help of the CIA guy and the movie ends abruptly.

IN A NUTSHELL:

‎Movie Review: Salt (2010) | Pros: Angelina Jolie, gripping at times, reasonable amount of action scenes | Cons: slightly predictable and sometimes dodgy (also somewhat cliched) storyline | Rating: 6/10
